Curriculum

The Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program is approved by the
California Board of Registered Nursing
as a provider of advanced practice nursing education (CE Provider #030). The program is evolving as a continuing education provider ONLY under the guidence of Kim Burtle, Director of Clinical Services Women’s Health Care Clinic and Director of Education for our program now known as Women’s Health Care Clinic Education Program (WHCCEP).
The WHCCEP is providing continuing education for CEUs earned through various
conferences, symposiums, workshops and online courses.
We presently offer a variety of CEU opportunities including but not limited to the following:

     NCC Review Online Course (Available Now)
     The Basic Colposcopy Program (Twice yearly in May & November)
          with Mary Rubin, PhD, CRNP and Anita Nelson, MD
     Current Issues in Office GYN Management
          with Anita Nelson, MD
     Implanon® Hormonal Contraceptive Implant Placement & Removal
          with Anita Nelson, MD
     Hormonal Contraceptive Update, Vaginitis/STIs and Common GYN Problems
          with Anita Nelson, MD
     Intrauterine Contraception including Placement Skills
          with Anita Nelson, MD
     Quality Assurance in the Family Planning Clinic
          with Kim Burtle and Jennifer Haddad
     An Effective Outreach Program
          with Jennifer Haddad
