The Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program was a certificate (non-degree granting) program that educated over 1800 Registered Nurses in an expanded role to provide primary health care to women throughout the life cycle directed by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, David Geffen School of Medicine, and was offered through Los Angeles Biomedical Research Institute, Inc. at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Torrance, California
Now under the Women's Health Care Clinic with Kim Burtle, Director of Clinical Services, Director of Education. We are now offering a variety of women's health care continuing education opportunities such as; Contraceptive Update Symposiums, Office Gynecology Updates, The Basic Colposcopy Program and NCC Review Online Course, under the name Women's Health Care Clinic Education Program (the working part of the) Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program which is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing as a Continuing Education Provider (CEP #030) for advanced practice nursing education.
We are still available for Education Verification, Transcripts and Licensure as needed by our graduates
