The Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program is a certificate (non-degree granting) program that educates Registered Nurses in an expanded role to provide primary health care to women throughout the life cycle. The program is directed by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, David Geffen School of Medicine, and is offered through Los Angeles BioMedical Research Institute at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. The WHCNPP is nationally accredited by the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, and is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing as a provider of advanced practice nursing education..
